We Condemn the Massacre Against the Civilian Population in Rojava

The massacre led by The Islamıc State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has killed more than fifteen civilians,mostly women and children, in Serêkaniyê, Rojava.

We offer our condolences to the families of the victims. We salute and express our solidarity with those struggling against these attacks and for democracy, peace, human rights and equality in Rojava. Continue reading

Coaliton of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) made a huge success at the European elections and became the biggest political party in Greece.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) salutes and congratulates SYRIZA for the successes both at the European elections and local elections in Greece. SYRIZA’s success will be a great motivation for HDP’s struggle in Turkey.

We Will Not Forget the Circassian Genocide!

 

wpid-webicin26.png150 years passed since the greatest tragedy that has come upon the Circassian people. May 21, 1864 marks the symbolic date of the Circassian Genocide. The Russian Empire had followed a complete extermination policy during the wars in Eastern Caucasia, particularly in the Dagestan and Circassian territories. Over a million Circassians were massacred and even a greater number of them were exiled. The Abkhaz, Ubykh and the Adygean people of Black Sea were also exiled as over five hundred of them lost their lives either on the way or at where they were instructed to settle. Fifty three thousand Circassians were found dead just in Trabzon. The Ubykh language is a dead one now. The Natukhais of the Adygeans only remain in the history books nowadays. Continue reading

TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE TURKISH PARLIAMENT,

In light of the greatest mass murder of the working class in Turkish history in Soma, Manisa, we motion for a censure of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the irresponsible handling of mine regulations and the search and rescue operations and the inadequate, oppressive and non-transparent policies of his government according to the 99th amendment of the constitution and the 106th amendment of the Turkish Parliament bylaws.

The Civilian Shootings On the Rojava Border Are Unacceptable

Those who allow and look away from border violations and as Al-Nusra and Al-Qaeda members cross the border between Turkey and Syria to practically turn the region into a logistics base for themselves have shot an innocent Kurdish civilian mother crossing the border to Turkey in front of her two kids.
